Casa di Nonnas: Rustic Charms of Tuscany
Made up from two houses, Casa di Nonnas and ‘The Cherry Tree Villa’ are located side by side, nestled on the beautiful rolling hills of Tuscany above the medieval town of Pescia (near the small village of Vellano, situated between Florence and Lucca). It is the perfect place to be based with its idyllic setting and proximity to the many historical sights of Tuscany. Many of the authentic local villages, shops and restaurants of ‘real Italy’ enjoy a way of life fundamentally unchanged for over 100 years.

More to the point, it offers great cycling route flexibility, such as Lucca, Pisa, Viareggio, Florence and Siena are all in cycling striking distance! So, you can plan a route, which suits your energy levels and combine your route with visits or restaurant locations of your choice. The Gusto team will be happy to advise you and help you to select a challenging or fun route on flat, hilly or mountainous terrain - it’s entirely your choice.

The main Casa di Nonnas house can accommodate 6 people and has 2 double bedrooms (including one with 4 poster bed), a twin room with an en-suite bathroom, large kitchen, smeg fridge, dishwasher, utility room with washing machine, lounge with dining table. Our own olive oil vat from the groves around the house, which means you will never need to buy any olive oil to cook with. There are two infinity pools with breathtakingly dramatic views of the Pesciatina mountains.

The Cherry Tree Villa: A Charming Villa, both Inside and Out
A one bedroom rustic Tuscan villa over 2 floors, it is fitted to the highest standards with a kitchenette complete with a smeg cooker, fridge, dishwasher, lounge room with dinning table, a fold out double bed divan plus cable TV, DVD & stereo system and a deluxe 4 poster bed with en-suite complete the interior of this villa. Outside is a large double infinity pool, terrazzo and woodland area with olive groves and fruit trees, perfect for Al fresco dinning.

The farm house package at "Casa di Nonna" is located in the hills above Pescia near the hill top town of Velllano.
